Pleasures are fleeting, weakening, enticing, addictive and destructive. The tasty-looking, poisonous morsel that brainwashes us into thinking that the more we have of it, the better off would we be—when in fact the opposite is true.

    • Thanks.. I meant pleasures have a wild quality if it is left unrestrained by morality….for instance when a man cheats on his wife, or gambles, or plays computer games for too long, does drugs etc. The restrain we exercise on pleasure transforms it into something else…something akin to Euphoria. Restrained pleasure is good, unrestrained one destroys us.
